Fund a Film. Stand Behind a Story That Matters.
Ulinzi Africa Foundation is East Africa’s first non-profit dedicated to ranger welfare and human–wildlife conflict mitigation.
Working in Kenya’s Tana Delta, Ulinzi operates as a frontline anti-poaching force protecting wildlife, supporting communities and safeguarding one of the region’s most important ecosystems.
Their work has been recognised by the Kenya Wildlife Service for its commitment to conservation and community protection.
Now, Connect Foundation is partnering with Ulinzi to create a powerful documentary and visual series that helps their story reach a global audience.
Through film and visual storytelling, this project aims to raise awareness, strengthen support and help amplify the impact of Ulinzi’s work on the ground.
By supporting this film, you help bring an urgent conservation story into the world while standing beside the people working to protect this landscape.
But behind the organisation is a far more personal story - one that reveals the challenges, persistence and quiet determination required to defend a place over many years.
At the heart of the film is the remarkable story of Raabia Hawa, the founder of Ulinzi Africa Foundation.
For years, Raabia has worked tirelessly to defend the Tana Delta, one of Kenya’s most biodiverse and contested landscapes.
Her leadership has helped build a ranger force dedicated not only to wildlife protection, but also to community safety and environmental stewardship.
Project outputs include:
● Short documentary (5–12 minutes)
● Teaser trailer (1–2 minutes)
● 40 Photographs
● 5 Promotional social media content

In February, our crew travelled to Kenya to begin documenting Raabia’s work and the efforts of the Ulinzi team in the field.
This footage forms the foundation of a film designed to inspire global audiences and strengthen support for conservation in the region.
